Flox is a metaverse platform for businesses running virtual and hybrid events, built to bring clients and participants together in a rich, dynamic shared environment.
The product targets global, multilingual audiences and covers conferences and summits, exhibitions and trade shows, e-training, product launches, networking events, internal communications and performances.
The challenge
Flox needed a complete event platform rather than a feature: persistent data, a real-time 3D environment, content management and analytics, all designed to scale to global audiences.
Participants had to be able to join in immersive 3D or accessible 2D, which shapes architecture well beyond the rendering layer.
The approach
